Banana Fruit Freeze

1 banana about 2 cups frozen fruit (cherries are superb) low fat soy milk as needed (or nonfat dairy milk) put the banana and the frozen fruit into the blender, add just 1/4 cup soy milk to get it all starter, let her rip, Blend until smooth and thick, add just enough milk to blend it together. Use a rubber spatula to push the stuff down (turn the blender off first!)

Chocholate Pie

1.5 cups sugar6 T cocoa1/3 cup cornstarch + 1 tsp1/2 tsp salt Mix above ingredients together well in saucepan. Gradually add overmedium heat:1.5 cups skim milk mixed with1.5 cups canned evaporated skim milkStir constantly anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes until mixture boils. Onceit boils let boil 1 minute stirring constantly. Once boiled, add 1/2 ofthis mixture into a bowl that has:3 egg beaters (lightly beaten)Stir mixture and add back to contents in saucepan and return to heat.Boil for an additional minute remove from heat and add:1/2 T vanillaMix well and pour into prepared pie crust of your choice. I made agraham cracker crust (not fat free) and my mother uses a pie crust. Iwill leave that up to you folks. Place a sheet of waxed paper firmlyover top of the hot filling, this will prevent cracking, andrefrigerate 2 - 48 hours. Serve with dessert topping (cool whip) ifdesired.

Apple-cherry crisp




6-8 apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks 1 cup dried sour cherries 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup quick-cooking oatmeal 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/3 cup apple butter Soak cherries in hot water for 20 minutes or until plumped. Mix apples, cherries and 1/2 cup sugar in a casserole dish (no need to Pam it beforehand). Mix together remaining ingredients and sprinkle on top. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. kwvegan vegan
